Terms and conditions

We are very pleased to welcome you to Hallums website!

When shopping at our site you automatically accept our terms of sale. We therefore advise you to read through all of the below mentioned terms and conditions thoroughly before you start shopping at Hallums website.

All prices are in DKK and including Danish vat of 25%, unless otherwise stated.

For countries not in EU, it is your own responsibility to pay TAX and duties, this is not included in the prices shown at this website.


Hallum accepts the following credit cards: Dankort,VISA/VISA Elektron, Vpay, Mastercard, and Maestro.The amount will not be withdrawn from your account before the goods leaves our stock. All prices are indicated in DKK (the Danish currency) and a 25% sales tax/VAT is included, unless the package is being shipped outside the EU. Please see below under the section CUSTOMS AND SALES TAX/VAT.
Shipping in Denmark:

Shipping in Denmark is free. We deliver with DAO.

International shipping:

All shipments abroad are delivered by DAO or UPS and delivered as an insured package.

Europe - 200 DKK
North- og Southamerica - 325 DKK
Africa, Asia and Greenland - 355 DKK
Rest of world - 385 DKK

Customs and sales tax/VAT:

If your order is placed from an EU country you will have to pay the Danish sales tax/VAT but no custom fee. This is according to customs policies regarding sales within the EU. However, if your order is placed outside the EU you may have to pay additional tax and duties in the country of destination. Hallum is not responsible for these or for any fees charged by customs. The carrier will contact you in case of any extra charges or customs clearance. This might delay the delivery. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to pay for these extra charges.


Hallum gladly accept returns no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods. Please indicate the reason for your return. We do not accept items that have been worn, altered, or washed. The original hangtag must also be intact. As soon as we have received the returned items and they have undergone a quality control check we will credit your account/credit card. We only credit the card that was used to purchase the items. In case of a bank transfer please remember to submit the registration number and account number. Please keep your postage receipt as a proof that the package was sent. You are responsible for the return expenses.   

Notification of defects

All merchandise is covered by The Danish Sale of Goods, giving you 24 months to complain about an item. As a customer you can complain about defects and deficiencies that arise within 24 months of the purchase. However, if the defects, deficiencies, or wear and tear are due to negligent use, a lack of maintenance, or simply because of normal wear and tear your right to complain is renounced. Items must be returned to the following address:

Please be noted we do not accept parcels returned by cash on delivery (COD).

On returning defect items please state clearly the reason, this will enhance the process. The parcel must contain a copy of the invoice/order confirmation. Please always send your package return as a track and trace delivery. Tracking will then be possible and waives any doubt that the parcel has been received by Hallums Webshop.


You can cancel a purchase within 14 days after you receive the package.
You may cancel your purchase, even if the product has been used.
You will be liable for any diminished value of the goods.The deterioration of the sales value for HALLUM will be offset against the amount you will get paid back.The deterioration value can be up to 100%. HALLUM evaluate the goods received in each case.
You are responsible for costs of returning goods.You bear the risk of the product until it is in our hands again. This means that if the package disappears or becomes damaged during the return journey, you are liable for the goods. Write an email to pernille@hallumdesign.dk, with the message of what you want to return. We can only refund the price when you have written an unequivocal statement about your cancellation to us on email. Once you have given HALLUM notice that you want to use the your canceling right by law, you have another 14 days to return the goods. 


We are committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers. Hallum do therefore not sell, share or transfer your personal information to any outside parties. For the sole purpose of operating our business, suppliers or third party processors (such as credit card companies, customer service providers and shipping companies) may process your information, but only to the extent that it is needed to assist the Hallum site.

For your online safety, we use Security Socket Layer (SSL) technology, one of the most secure systems for ordering online, that allows encryption of your potential sensitive information, such as your name and address and critical sensitive information, such as credit card information. Your information will be encrypted from the moment you enter it and your sensitive information will not be saved on a public server. That means that information passed between you and us cannot be read in the event someone else intercepts it.

The SSL technology provides an authentication that assures your browser that your data is being sent to the correct secure computer server; an encryption that encodes all data, so only the secure server is able to read it; and a data integrity that checks the transferred data has not been altered.
